What do I need for my first class?
- Dress comfortably in shorts and a tank top. Bring along a pair of heels to dance in if you like!
- DO bring along a hand/face towel to wipe yourself down.
- DON’T use any moisturizer on the day of your class (it makes your skin slippery).
About our classes
Bobbi’s Pole Studio has a variety of classes to suit all levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) so you’ll be able to find one that you’re comfortable with.
All full-term classes span 8 weeks, and consist of a weekly 1-hour session comprising:
- warm-up & stretching
- progressive floorwork & pole tricks
- learning a dance routine incorporating the trick learned

Every student gets their own pole! (for enrollment in full-term 8-week classes)

TRIAL CLASS
We hold trial classes once a month at our studio! Come and join us for an hour of pole and exotic dance and experience how a class is run. You will learn a simple routine with beginner spins to a sexy song. Bring your girlfriends for an hour of fun. For pole virgins, all are welcome.

BEGINNERS
Most students will start with the Beginners term. These classes are designed to introduce students to the ‘Pole’ and to the range of moves that can be performed given time and practice. Attention is also given to building upper body strength and flexibility all of which contribute to gaining pole skill.

Intermediate 1
Once the student has graduated from Beginners they can enrol for Intermediate 1. This course will revise pole skills gained in the previous course, whilst moving on to slightly more complex manouveres that require strength and agility. The student will be also taught dance/pole combinations.

Intermediate 2
Now we are getting serious! Not only are we ALL confidently upside down we are gonna get you sideways, right-side up and inside out!! Hold on tight for Intermediate 2!

Intermediate 3
Considering changing your career? Then Int 3 is what you need – and lots of it!!! Quite physically demanding and acrobatic – we highly recommend 2 courses per week at this level.

PREP ADVANCED
Are you an Int 3 repeat offender? Or struggling a bit in Advanced? This course focuses on the more difficult and demanding moves that you will be mastering in Advanced. Flexibility is highly recommended alongside this class.

ADVANCED
These classes are available for those students who want to progess to the most complex of Pole Skills. These classes consist of intense warm-ups combined with a very physical session of pole dance/pole skills. A great deal of upper body and abdominal strength is required for these classes.

TECHNIQUES 1 (Intermediate 1 & 2)
This new class is designed to help you hone your pole tricks and perfect your lines so that you look your absolute best on the pole. It’s especially useful if you’re looking to advance to higher levels, because we’ll focus on the specific tricks you’re having difficulty with. No more twisted feet and fumbling around! (Note: There’s no dance routine but you will certainly learn a few new tricks not taught in our routine classes!)

TECHNIQUES 2 (Intermediate 3 & ABOVE)
Wanna execute your pole moves with more precision, style and grace? Techniques 2 focuses on helping you nail the more difficult pole tricks so that you can keep progressing. It’s all about beautiful lines and making each move look effortless. You will learn new tricks and variants of the tricks you already know!

TECH 3 (PREP ADV. REPEATERS)
Techniques 3 will challenge you further with higher level of tricks and transitions. The focus here will be on perfecting techniques, looking effortless and building your core strength like never before… Join us if you dare! For Prep Advanced repeaters and above.

POLE GROOVES
If you would like to combine all your pole moves into routines, this course is for you. A new routine every 8 weeks showing you how Pole Dancing can be a graceful and fluid form of dance, as well as highly aerobic & funky! All levels are welcomed, different tricks will be taught to students of different levels.

MINI TERM POLE
A 4 week introduction to Pole Dance held in the last 4 weeks of every term. A great ‘taster’ or preparation for the Beginner POLE course.

POLE ACROBATICS FOR MEN – L1
This course is a great workout with plenty of core and strength training. The pole tricks are gymnastics-oriented and will tone up your upper body in no time!

POLE ACROBATICS FOR MEN – OPEN
Guys, this course will take you to the next level in your upper body and core strength. You will learn more inverts as well as combinations of spins that will give you a thorough workout! All students must have completed L1 to sign up for this course.

MINI TERM SLAP
An introduction to SLAP held in the last 4 weeks of every term. A great ‘taster’ or preparation for the Beginner SLAP course!

BEGINNER SLAP
This 8 week course covers the basics of Lap Dancing and Striptease, starting from the floor and working all the way up. Floor moves, body rolls and seductive dance steps are covered along with the art of Striptease and Chairwork. You will learn a complete Striptease/Lap Dancing routine by the end of your course. You DO NOT have to get your gear off in these classes! (Unless you want to…) All levels are welcome!

INTERMEDIATE SLAP
You will learn a complete Striptease/Lap Dancing routine by the end of your course. This class is slightly more risque, involving flexibility and alluring choreography. You DO NOT have to get your gear off in these classes! (Unless you want to…) Prerequisite: You must have taken Beginner SLAP prior to signing up for this course.

FLEXIBILITY
Not quite strong or flexible enough to do the pole moves you would like? This fabulous class focuses on strength and flexibility exercises specific to pole dancing. We will give you a personal appraisal and some specific exercises for you to do at home depending on your needs.

PRIVATE CLASSES
Bobbi’s Pole Studio can also cater to ladies who prefer the exclusive attention of a 1-on-1 instructional class in either pole dancing, striptease, or lapdance (Up to 3 people). Book 4 privates for $480!

PRIVATE CLASSES WITH LINNA
Bobbi’s Pole Studio can also cater to ladies who prefer the exclusive attention of a 1-on-1 instructional class in either pole dancing, striptease, or lapdance (Up to 3 people). Book 4 privates and it’s $540!

PRACTICE TIME
Get better at your tricks, or mingle with the pole girls! Practice with your own pole for 1.5 hours, on a first come first serve basis.

CHOLE (CHAIR & POLE)
We mash up pole tricks with chairwork in this class! If you like a bit of variety and more interesting moves to make up your routine, then this class is for you.
